Sapta Rishi Marga: Bringing Back The Ancient Mystical Knowledge Of The Rishis

Rishi Tribe is a modern spiritual tribe dedicated to reviving the ancient mystical sciences of the Rishis — not as concepts or belief systems, but as living processes of transformation. We are a community of sādhaks (spiritual practitioners) who walk the path of the Sapta Rishis with discipline, authenticity, and a scientific spirit. Our mission is to bring the timeless mystical knowledge of the Sapta Rishis into a form that resonates with today’s modern mind, while preserving the depth, sanctity, and the transformative power of the ancient knowledge.

We are not here to create followers — we are here to awaken masters. The Rishis were not just sages, they were scientists of human consciousness who discovered the inner mechanisms of the body, mind, prana, and the cosmos. At Rishitribe, we honour their legacy by not just studying their wisdom, but by living it, experimenting with it, and evolving it to suit our times.

Our unique approach blends traditional ways of sadhana (practice) with a modern, structured system of learning. We break down complex mystical techniques into clear, step-by-step processes — with checkpoints, checklists, and measurable outcomes — so that anyone, regardless of their religious or cultural background, can learn, apply, and experience the results for themselves.

Rishi Tribe is for the sincere seeker who wants to learn to master his life and liberate himself.

SALUTATIONS

Parama Purushottama – Shri Krishna

In the spiritual and philosophical traditions of Sanathana Dharma, Shri Krishna is often revered as Parama Purushottama, the Supreme Divine Being who has transcended all the material and spiritual realms. The term Parama Purushottama signifies the highest, absolute, and ultimate manifestation of the divine, beyond all dualities and limitations.

Shri Krishna as Purushottama in the Bhagavad Gita:
In the Bhagavad Gita (Chapter 15, Verse 18), Lord Krishna proclaims:

यस्मात्क्षरमतीतोऽहमक्षरादपि चोत्तम: । अतोऽस्मि लोके वेदे च प्रथित: पुरुषोत्तम: ॥

“Since I am transcendental to both the perishable (material world) and the imperishable (spiritual realm), I am celebrated in the Vedas and the world as Purushottama (the Supreme Person).”

As Parama Purushottama, Krishna is:

● The ultimate source of creation, sustenance, and liberation.
● The Supreme Consciousness that governs the universe.
● The eternal, all-loving divine who is accessible through devotion (bhakti).

Maharshi Vishwamitra

Maharshi Vishwamitra was a Kshatriya king, originally named Kaushika, who renounced his throne after realizing that spiritual power was greater than worldly strength. Through intense tapasya (penance), he transformed into a Brahmarishi, overcoming numerous divine tests, including the temptation of Menaka and the challenge of controlling his anger.

  • Mentored Lord Rama, teaching him divine warfare in the Ramayana.
  • Created Trishanku Swarga, showcasing his immense spiritual power.

Maharshi Amara

Maharshi Amara was a contemporary Rishi, deeply aligned with the wisdom of the Sapta Rishis and devoted to the spiritual upliftment of humanity. Unlike the ancient sages who lived in the forests, he worked quietly in the modern world, transmitting esoteric knowledge and guiding seekers toward higher dimensions of consciousness.

Spiritual Mission and Service

Maharshi Amara is in constant service with Maharshi Vishwamitra, receiving and sharing divine revelations. He played a crucial role in bridging the gap between ancient Vedic wisdom and modern spiritual minds, offering insights into parallel dimensions, cosmic energies, and higher planes of existence. His teachings emphasised:

  • Spiritual evolution through inner transformation
  • Developing higher consciousness and intuitive abilities
  • The importance of Rishi wisdom in modern times

LEGACY AND INFLUENCE

Though he lived a quiet and humble life, Maharshi Amara had a powerful impact on those who were seeking deeper spiritual truths. His insights helped uncover hidden layers of the Vedas, Upanishads, and ancient mystical sciences—showing that what many once saw as myth is actually a higher reality beyond ordinary human understanding.

His life is a living example of how the wisdom of the Rishis continues through every age, guiding humanity toward higher awareness—both in visible and invisible ways.

SHRI RISHI AVIRBHAVA GURU POORNADWITHI - The Mystic Yogi

Sri Rishi Guru Avirbhava Poornadwithi began his spiritual journey at the young age of 9. As a child, he would experience deep meditative states (Samadhi) while sitting under the Audhambara tree behind the Dattatreya temple in a small village in North Karnataka. He comes from a spiritually rich lineage connected to Sadhguru Brahmananda Maharaj of Beladadi, a direct disciple of Shri Brahmachaitanya Maharaj, who is considered an incarnation of Lord Hanuman. His family even donated their ancestral home to Shankar Mutt. In his early days, he experienced turiya avastha—a state of pure consciousness—but didn’t fully understand it. Amazed by the experience, he began seeking answers. This curiosity led him to Ramakrishna Ashram. Sri Rishi started visiting and volunteering at the Ramakrishna ashram in Bengaluru.
