Prana Vidya enables one to understand and work with prana—the vital force that permeates the entire being. This knowledge is the culmination of years of mystical experiences, and knowledge channeled by the Rishis. Though ancient, these techniques have been revised by Sri Rishi Avirbhava Guru Poornadwaithi under the instruction of his Guru and the guidance of his Paramesthi Guru, Maharshi Amara, to make them practical and result-oriented for modern seekers.
The essence of Prana Vidya is to awaken and consciously direct the life force. Through the cultivation of subtle awareness, practitioners begin to perceive prana and gain profound insight into its nature. This leads to expanded consciousness, mastery over one’s internal energies, and ultimately, self-realization.
Prana Vidya addresses the Tapatraya—the three-fold sufferings faced by all beings, regardless of wealth or knowledge. These are:
Directing prana at will to specific areas of the body—especially effective when the flow is witnessed internally.
A pathway where breath, awareness, and prana flow in unison—created and directed consciously throughout the body.
Energy vortexes when aligned with the spine leads to higher awareness and deeper energetic shifts. Prana Vidya can awaken chakras instantly.
As external sounds fade, internal sounds emerge—from bells to subtle vibrations—culminating in the mantra Om.
The Rishis also revealed the story of how divine light (prana) manifests as Devas (light beings). The Sanskrit word Deva stems from div, meaning light. When this light becomes punya (crystallized light), it gains the power to manifest anything in creation.
The story of Lord Ganesha illustrates this: Parvati, daughter of the Mountain (symbol of pure light), creates Ganesha from her matter and infuses him with prana. Shiva, representing consciousness, destroys the old head (ignorance) and replaces it with an elephant head (intelligence). This allegory reflects the inner transformation through Prana Vidya.
The Ganesh mantra—Vakratunda Mahakaya Surya Koti Samaprabha…— is a coded invocation to light, to dissolve darkness and clear all obstacles.
Activate your prana, clear inner blocks, and unlock your true potential.
