The word Satsang is derived from the Sanskrit language where ‘Sat’ means “purity or truth” and ‘Sang’ means “in group or association”. The main purpose of conducting Satsang by any organization is for marking an important event in its history. Participating in any Satsang is considered pious in the Hindu religion due to its benefits in the Spiritual upliftment of an aspirant. Satsang’s are generally conducted by any religious or spiritual organizations in large groups.

Satsang is a lively, ancient spiritual practice from India. People gather with a teacher and engage in a relaxed, “anything goes” conversation about the nature of reality, self-realization, spiritual life, and all aspects of human experience from the most ordinary to the most cosmic. Satsang always includes kirtan.
Satsang is also an opportunity to be in the lap of the guru, in his presence , once dives into the divine intoxication. Bajans and kirtan will help vibrating our nadha shareera with which we can touch our bliss body Anandmaya Kosha.
